Begin with official information

The engine covers NSE and BSE mainboard offerings, NSE Emerge and BSE SME. It uses exchange issue information, SEBI-filed red herring prospectuses and official daily listing-price records. It can also follow Nasdaq and NYSE IPOs through SEC filings.

Check the financial picture

Code extracts financial statements, peer comparisons and key performance tables, then calculates valuation, return on capital, growth, debt and existing-holder sales. Failed accounting consistency checks produce missing data rather than a guessed figure. Rule-based flags include P/E above 1.5 times the peer median and more than 70% of the issue sold by existing holders.

See the perspectives behind the score

Four formulas examine fundamentals, institutional investors, company sentiment and market effects. A fifth combines them. Missing inputs are treated as neutral. Grey market premium is not used, and no score is produced before the price band is available.

Understand what backtesting can show

Backtesting replays past IPOs using information available by their final bid day, with date-bounded news. It tests batches of five, refits formulas and checks performance. It can stop after three unchanged batches with at least 20 tested. Until 100 IPOs have been tested, the result is an uncalibrated model ranking, not a measured probability.

Keep the analysis current

A daily refresh finds issues, updates filings and subscriptions, rescoring and recording listed results. You can refresh manually or follow an IPO for alerts when its score moves by at least 10 points. The optional daily email digest is off by default and covers issues closing in the next three days.

Know the role of AI and the limits

AI summarizes news, helps read scanned anchor letters and can provide an optional taught-expert opinion. Figures and formulas are calculated in code. News quotes must appear in the cited article. This is informational analysis, not investment advice, and it never places orders. Past patterns do not guarantee results.

Desktop availability and task use

IPO analysis is available on the desktop app, not Android. Each IPO analysis and each data job, including refresh, results and history, uses one task. Turning the engine off stops the daily refresh and its task use; manual actions remain available.
