A conversation you can steer
Tap the voice control and describe what you want in ordinary words. You can interrupt mid-sentence to change direction or skip an explanation. Voice can hand work to the same team and tools as typed requests.
Keep the same context
Voice and typing share context, so you can start a request in one and continue in the other. Ask what workers are doing, request an on-screen diagram or discuss your calendar. With a connected calendar, the assistant can read the coming seven days.
Record a meeting you attend
Start Transcribe meeting and place your computer where its microphone can hear the room. Workforce records alongside you; it does not join a call as a separate participant. The resulting transcript is filed with the matching calendar entry.
Listening does not start jobs
During recording, the app is listen-only. It does not speak and does not act on instructions overheard in the meeting. Someone saying “send that email” does not trigger an email.
Keep the transcript and actions
The transcript and extracted action items are saved as a Markdown note. On plans with History & memory, the note can join your searchable business knowledge. Audio quality depends on what your microphone can hear.
Know the voice limits
Read-aloud voices and voice cloning are available on Windows only, in English, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and Spanish. There is no Android path for these features. Meeting recording is a recorder alongside you, not an autonomous meeting attendee.
